- 2 one hour lectures per week + 4 hour practical or tutorial class per week.
- Attendance and participation in practical and tutorial sessions is compulsory.

Assessment is divided between a mid semester test, an examination at the end of semester and the assignments (seminar, practical reports)Textbook:
The text book for this course is "Human Physiology" 4th edition by Silverthorn D U, published in 2007 by Pearson. Other physiological texts of a similar standard may also be suitable, for example, one you recently purchased for Biol 246..You will also need to purchase a lecture graphics manual available from the Co-op Bookshop on campus.
