Assignment collection procedure – student center is moving!

From Tuesday 9 June the Science and Engineering Student Centre (SESC) will be in MUSE (the old library building) and so will the assignment boxes.

SESSION 2, 2015

There will be a change in our assignment collection procedures from Session 2, 2015.

We will be clearing the assignment boxes at 9am (1st clear out of the day) and 4:30pm (last clear out of the day) Monday to Friday.

Also at regular intervals during this time as required.

All assignments received will be date stamped regardless of whether they’re on time or late.

It will be up to the unit convenor to determine whether the assignment is on time or late based on the due dates they set for the unit.

AFTER HOURS ASSIGNMENTS

Any assignments submitted after 4:30pm (last pickup of the day) and next day 9am (first pickup of the day) and the after hours box (cleared at 9am) will be stamped that days date.

E.g: 4:30pm Tuesday – 9am Wednesday will be stamped Wednesdays date.

1 JUNE – 5 JUNE

Faculty of Science Student Centre is still open in E7A and accepting assignments until Thursday 4 June.

Friday 5 June the after hours box will still be open and we will be clearing the box until 11:30 ONLY as we need to vacate the building shortly thereafter.

The morning of Tuesday 8 June we will make our final check of the after hours box in E7A.

Sydney Plant Ecophysiology Group Meeting – Next Tuesday at UTS

Our next meeting this coming Tuesday, June 9th, at UTS from 4 pm – 6 pm.

Our speakers are Dr Dave Marvin visiting from Greg Asner’s lab at the Carnegie Institution for Science (USA) and Dr Geertje van der Heijden-Corr visiting from Northumbria University (UK). Unfortunately, Paola Corneo’s talk has had to be postponed to our next meeting as she is held up with field trials.

The venue has kindly been arranged by Dr Andy Leigh and Alicia Cook at UTS. It is level SIX of the Science Building — building CB04 on this map. The seminar room is room number CB04.06.506.

The building is close to Central Station. Access it via Harris St, opposite the ABC. When approaching from Central/Broadway, take the second entrance down Harris St.  That is, take the entrance on the corner of Thomas/Harris streets, not the first entrance accessed by a ramp.

Take the lift to level 6; when you get out of the lifts, go through the glass doors and veer left through the tea area to the seminar room in the opposite corner.

Hope to see you on Tuesday June 9th,

Cheers,

Tory and Steve
